GSOC seeks Assistant Investigations Officers (AIO) and Investigations Officers (IO)

The Public Appointments Service (PAS) on behalf of the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) has launched a recruitment campaign for new Assistant Investigations Officers (AIO’s) and Investigations Officers (IO’s). The AIO’s and IO’s are assigned to an investigation role in the Operations Directorate of GSOC and report to Senior Investigations Officer (SIO). Candidates will be expected to act ethically and in accordance with the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and fairness at all times in keeping with GSOC’s core values.

A number of the positions available are based in GSOC’s Dublin office however a small number may arise in other locations. On the application form candidates may select all or any of the locations:

  • Blackpool, Cork
  • IDA Business Park, Longford
