The Garda Síochána Act 2005 is amended by the Criminal Justice Act 2006 and the Criminal Justice Act 2007. The amendments that are particularly relevant to the operations of the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission are detailed in Section 43 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
